PAKISTAN AND MALAYSIA WORK CLOSELY TO IMPROVE RELATIONS

KUALA LUMPUR, March 24 (Bernama) -- Pakistan and Malaysia are working closely to improve relations in many sectors, said Pakistan’s Acting High Commissioner Dr Imtiaz A.Kazi here Tuesday.

Imtiaz said various steps had been taken to improve collaboration between
the two countries including in the business sector.

"Pakistan has always maintained warm and brotherly relations with most of
the countries in South-East Asia," he said after appearing in BernamaTV's "Hello
Malaysia" talk show programme, here Tuesday night.

He said more Malaysian companies would be venturing into Pakistan to reap
the benefits from immense opportunities available in housing, infrastructure
development, oil and gas exploration, IT and energy sectors in the country.

Pakistan’s top business delegates would be visiting Malaysia in April to
build business-to-business relationships and promote and trade and investment
between the two countries, he said.
