YEMEN IS READY TO HOST GULF 20: MUJAWAR SAYS

SANA'A, March 24 (Saba) - Prime Minister Ali Mujawar affirmed on
Wednesday that Yemen is ready to host the Gulf Cup 20 in the coming
November.

Mujawar said in an interview with Abu Dhabi Sports Channel that the
achievement proportion in the sport projects and infrastructure
amounted to 80 percent in Aden and Abyan provinces.

He called the Gulf satellite channels and mass media to pay visits
to these two provinces to get acquainted with the projects and the
progress work in order to transfer a true picture on the
rehabilitation level for the infrastructure of Gulf 20.

Hosting Gulf 20 is a real chance to establish the infrastructure for
the most in need provinces that is why Aden, Abyan and Lahj have
been chosen, he added.

He also highlighted that the preparations for Gulf 20 made the
government paying more attention to these three provinces as well as
giving them what they never had before, nearly one hundred years ago.

The Premier hailed the UAE support for Yemen to host the important
gulf sport event, Gulf 20.
