OIC`S IHSANOGLU DECRIES KILLING OF FOUR PALESTINIAN CIVILIANS

By Muin Abdul Majid

DUBAI, March 24 (Bernama) -- Organisation of the Islamic Conference
secretary-general Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has described the Israeli
forces' recent killing of four Palestinians as a war crime whose perpetrators
must not go unpunished.

He condemned the killings which occurred near Nablus in the occupied West
Bank, saying that they were carried out in cold blood.

In a statement, Ihsanoglu said such crime demonstrated the need for the
international community to compel Israel to commit to international laws
pertaining to the protection of civilians, in time of war.

Reports said cousins Mohammed Qawariq and Saleh Qawariq were killed by
Israeli forces on Sunday, while Mohammed Kaddous and Osaid Kaddous lost their
lives on Saturday.
