ABU DHABI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT NAMED "MOST IMPROVED" BY SKYTRAX

DUBAI, March 25 (Bernama) -- Abu Dhabi International Airport was named the
world's "Most Improved Airport 2009-2010" at the recent Skytrax World Airport
Awards held in Brussels, Belgium.

It moved up to become the world's number 26 airport -- a jump of 47 places
from the previous year.

"We're honoured to have been recognised by passengers for the work we've
done. We're committed to doing more in the future," said Khalifa Al Mazrouei,
chairman of Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) which operates the facility.

"For millions of visitors, our airport is their first experience of Abu
Dhabi. Therefore, we aim to make it the perfect welcome for them, and this award
vindicates the direction and actions we are taking to realise that mission," he
said in accepting the award.

His remarks were made available to the media here.

Over the past year, ADAC had introduced, among others, a new terminal, new
parking facilities, free Wifi and use of new technologies, as well as unique
travel retail and food and beverage offerings.

The Skytrax awards were the culmination of a survey of airport customers
conducted between July 2009 and March 2010 at more than 200 airports.
