POLICE YET TO NAME SUSNO SUSPECT
Jakrta, March 26 (ANTARA) - National Police spokesman Inspector General Edward Aritonang said police investigators have yet to name former chief detective Commissioner General Susno Duadji suspect of defamation.
"Further investigations are still underway, and no status has yet been set," Aritonang said in Jakarta Friday.
He also said that the investigators have yet to summon Susno or other relevant parties, as the police was still busy looking into the irregularities of the suspicious account of Rp25 billion of Gayus Tambunan, high-ranking official of the Taxation Directorate General.
In the last few days almost all the media have called Susno a suspect in the case of defamation of Brig Gen Raja Erizman, Director II of the detective division, and Brig Gen Edmond Ilyas, Lampung police chief.***
