YEMEN REQUESTS ADDING ISRAELI VIOLATIONS IN IPU AGENDA

BANGKOK, March 27 (Saba) - Yemen requested in the 122nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) on Saturday to add an item on the Israeli violations in Palestine in the conference's agenda.

The item presented by the Parliamentary delegation headed by Parliament Member Sultan al-Barakani included the Israeli violations of Islamic and Christian holy sites and settlement expansion in the Palestinian capital, al Quds.

Al-Barakani called the Arab parliamentary group, in its coordination meeting in the Thai capital, Bangkok, to offer the possible support to the Somali Parliament in order to be able to fulfill its financial obligations to the IPU.
