YEMEN REVIEWS COOPERATION WITH MSF, ICRC



SAADA, March 27 (Saba)- Governor of Saada Abdullah Hajir discussed on Saturday with Emergencies Coordinator of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) the possibilities to implement new medical projects serving health situation in the governorate.

The governor valued efforts of the MSF in improving medical and health services in Saada, affirming the importance of cooperation and coordination with the governorate leadership.

He noted the importance of raising support percentage allocated to the governorate of Saada in order to be able to fulfill the medical, health and emergency services.

For his part, the MSF official reviewed action plan of the organization for the coming period, indicating the implemented projects by the organizations in the governorate.

On the other hand, Hajir met with representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and talked with him over cooperation aspects between the governorate and the committee to improve humanitarian services provided for the IDPs in the camps.

The governor hailed activities of the committee in supporting the IDPs through providing basic materials such as relief and shelter stuff.
