Education minister meets BRIDGE program official

SANA'A, March 27 (Saba)- Minister
of Education Abdul-Salam al-Jawfi met on Saturday the team head of Broadening
Regional Initiative
for Developing Girls' Education (BRIDGE) program of the Japan International
Cooperation Agency (JICA).
In the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of enhancing the mutual cooperation
between Yemen and Japan.
They discussed achievements of BRIDGE program since January till now and the
successful solutions which guaranteed the continuity of the project.
They also discussed aspects of expanding the project to include Aden governorate as
well as Taiz, Sana'a and Dhamar and presenting technical support to Aden.
In this regard, the two officials discussed the training process for the project
workers by Japan in May after holding the joint annual revision with donors.
