KOREA GAS TARGETS MONGOLIA

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Korea Gas Corp., the world's biggest buyer of liquefied natural gas, wants to develop unconventional supplies to diversify its revenue sources.
The state-run gas utility is targeting shale gas and coal-bed methane in countries including Australia, Canada, Ukraine, Indonesia and Mongolia, Chief Executive Choo Kang-soo said in a letter to shareholders.
