YEMEN RENEWS CONDEMNATION FOR ZIONIST AGGRESSION ON ISLAMIC SHRINES

BANGKOK, Thailand, March 29 (Saba) - Yemen strongly condemned on
Monday the flagrant Zionist aggression against the Islamic and
Christian shrines in al-Quds of Palestine.

Addressing the 122nd assembly of the Inter-parliamentary Union held
in Bangkok capital of Thailand, head of the Yemeni delegation Sultan
al-Barakani said that such aggression required a serious position
from all to practice a pressure on Israel to respond to the
resolutions of the international community related to the Israeli-
Palestinian conflict in order to achieve peace and justice in the
region.

Regarding the developments in the nation, al-Barakani reviewed
failed plots which targeted the unity of Yemen and its republican
system, saying that the Yemeni people faced all these plots and
threats including al-Qaeda by launching pro raids against the
elements of this terrorist group.

He called on all to gather efforts to face terror which threatens
stability and security of the whole world.
