MONGOLIAN COOKS WIN MEDALS
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A team of Mongolian cooks showed a brilliant success at the 8th International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival held between 18 and 21 March 2010 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The All Cooks Federation of Turkey has organized this event that was attended by 2,000 cooks from 22 countries. A Mongolian cook,
D.Buyandelger won silver and bronze medals in two categories, B.Delger gained two bronze medals and Ch.Sanchir won one bronze.
Mongolia joined the World Association of Chefs Societies in 2008 thus gaining an opportunity to take part in international cooks competitions and festivals.
Mongolian Cooks Association president Mr Oktyabri Janchiv said that it has been planned to organize a cook competition of the Mongol race in Ulaanbaatar next year.
