President's decree on state land lease or concession discussed

(KPL) A draft decree of the President on state land lease or concession and royalties was discussed in a seminar held here on 2 July.

The seminar was co-chaired by Mr. Cheuang Sombounkhanh, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, and Mr. Kham-ouane Boupha, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office and head of the Land Management Authority.

During the seminar, Mr. Kham-ouane has talked about the reasons to draft this decree, which relates to the state budget law and revenue collection to the state budget.

He said that the rate for land lease or concession was not charged on a uniform manner, which caused the decrease in revenue collection or gap in the revenue collection.
