Yemen, IFAD discuss agricultural cooperation

SANA'A, March 30 (Saba)- Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Mansor al-Hawshabi held talks on Tuesday with the regional director
of International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) Nadim Khori over aspect of the agriculture cooperation between Yemen and the fund.

They discussed the IFAD support for the agriculture in rural regions and efforts of
reducing poverty in Yemen in coming three years as well as new programs of the fund
in
Yemen.
The minister highlighted support of the fund for the agricultural development in
Yemen and its contributions to develop the agriculture sector to insure the food
security
in the country.
For his part, the IFAD official affirmed concern of the fund in supporting the
agricultural development tin Yemen by carrying further agricultural projects.
