GERMANY TO RENDER ASSISTANCE

Ulaanbaatar,/MONTSAME/ Government of the Federal Republic of Germany has decided to render assistance of EUR100 thousand dedicated to families in some aimags which were affected by zud. It is planned to spend the money for 2,000 rural families to receive medical aid.
The relief money will be distributed by the "World Vision" international organization in various aimags. Apart of the assistance from the German government, the "German World Vision" NGO will grant nutritional preparations to some Mongolian 4,000 children with mineral and vitamin deficiency. The distribution work will be carried out after a consultation among the Health Ministry, the United Nations and other donor organizations.
