London meeting recommended working group to visit Yemen soon
SANA'A, March 31 (Saba)
- The Jordanian-Dutch working group on justice and rule of law recommended by London
meeting
held in November 2009 is to visit Yemen next week.
Minister of Justice Ghazi al-Aghbari held separate meetings with each of Jordanian
ambassador to Yemen Ahmed Jaradat and the Dutch ambassador RH Buikeman.
The two meetings discussed the arrangements of the visit working group scheduled to
be on April 6-7.
Al-Aghbari emphasized the government's keenness on working group's proposals that
aim to boost up the reforms carried out by the government under the national
reforms agenda.
The minister briefed the two ambassadors on the initial perceptions the government
focuses on to advance the judicial reform and the required technical assistance to
make
it succeed.
The Jordanian-Dutch working group on justice and rule of law aims to identify and
analyze the challenges facing Yemen and to suggest suitable solutions to prop up
the government's
reform efforts in coordination with the International community.
