Yemen to host Somali face-to-face talks
SANA'A, 05 July (Saba) - Based on the opposition's request, Yemen is
to host talks between Somalia's opposition factions aiming at
reaching a united vision about the Djibouti agreement between the
Somali government and opposition.
For this purpose, a number of Somalia's opposition factions have
arrived here few days ago, the weekly 26September reported.
Well-informed sources told the weekly that this talks to be held
under the sponsorship of the United Nations intend to resume the
dialogue among the Somali factions and to end the Somali civil war.
Holding the talks in Sana'a reflects confidence of all the Somali
factions at the Yemeni efforts that could pave the way for a Somali
reconciliation.
Worth mentioning, Yemen has hosted a number of Somali dialogue
sessions during the last years.
