Saleh arrives in Doha
DOHA, April 04 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh arrived
on Sunday in Qatar's capital, Doha for a visit in response to the invitation of the
country's
Emir Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The Emir was on top of the receivers.
Landing at Doha Airport, Saleh told reporters: It is my pleasure to visit Qatar and
discuss with my brother Emir Hamad the bilateral relationship, exchange viewpoints
over
the latest developments in the region and review the outcomes of the 22nd Arab
summit which concluded in the Libyan Sirt city, particularly those on improving Arab
common
work.
He voiced Yemen's keenness to forge its ties with Qatar in all areas, appreciating
the Qatari stance supporting Yemen's unity and stability.
Furthermore, he welcomed Qatari investors to Yemen, assuring they would receive
special care and facilities.
The delegation accompanying President Saleh included his political advisor Abdul
Karim al-Eryani, Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, Expatriate Affairs Minister
Ahmed Musa'ed
Hussein, lawmaker Muhammad Bin Naji al-Shayef and Yemen's ambassador to Qatar Abdul
