PRIMIER ADDRESSING AT OPENING OF SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ABOUT TSEDENBAL

Ulaanbaatar,/MONTSAME/ Prime Minister S.Batbold gave a speech at an opening of a scientific conference themed "Independence and national security of Mongolia and Tsedenbal Yumjaa" held on Friday in the Government House. This conference is organized dedicated to 70th anniversary of start of political career of late Tsedenbal, an outstanding political figure, Hero of Mongolia and leader of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party (MPRP).
In his speech, Batbold pointed out that contemporaries of Tsedenbal at his leadership have made great deed for the sake of their motherland. "They constructed railways, industrial centers in Darkhan, Erdenet, Baganuur, Bor-Ondor and Khotol, irrigated Gobi region and erected a lot of apartment micro-districts in Ulaanbaatar and other cities. At that time, the population of Mongolia wholly became literate; the Academy of Sciences, the Mongolian State University and other universities and institutes were established; the country sent its first cosmonaut to the space; and all the school age children were involved in schools," stressed Batbold.
"At that time, authorities of the MPRP and the state under leadership of Yu.Tsedenbal took far-sighted and wide-range measures to straighten the unity Mongolian people, to improve responsibilities, disciplines, organization and to create corruption-free environment," he added.
