CHINA RADIO INTERNATIONAL LAUNCHES CHINA-ASEAN WEBSITE

BEIJING, April 5 (Bernama) -- State-owned China Radio
International(CRI)Monday launched its China-Asean website to disseminate news
and information on
regional free trade.

The website http://asean.cri.cn) is available in eight languages -
Cambodian, Tagalog, Indonesian, Lao, Malay, Burmese, Thai and Vietnamese.

It was jointly launched by Thailand's Princess Sirindhorn; China-Asean
Association president Gu Xiulian; vice minister of State Adminstration of Radio
Film and Television, Tian Jin; and CRI president Wang Gengnian.

Established in 1941, CRI is the only radio station in China which broadcasts
to the world in 61 languages.
