SANA'A, April 05 (Saba)- Somali pirates have freed a Yemeni ship
with 12 sailors which was hijacked on 24 March in Somali water,
Interior Ministry said on Monday.

The owner of the ship said to security services that his ship was
freed after negotiations with the pirates who demanded US$5 million
in ransom for the release of the ship.

He added that he had paid the $5 million ransom to the Somali
pirates, pointing out that the ship with 11 people of its crew has
headed to Yemen.

"One of the crew, a Tanzanian person, was killed by the pirates", he
