MONACO EXTENDS USD 20,000 AID TO MONGOLIA

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ At the meeting of parliamentary Standing committee on economy April 6, Finance Minister S.Bayartogt introduced a draft agreement on technical cooperation to be concluded between the Government of Mongolia and the Principality of Monaco. Mongolia established the diplomatic relations with the Principality of Monaco on July 22, 2008.
Monaco has chosen Mongolia as its partner in Asia and has decided to grant a non-refundable aid of USD 20,000. The aid money is expected to be used for health and education sectors and preservation of national cultural heritages and archeological study. The Standing committee members approved to receive this aid from Monaco and made a decision to deliver the draft agreement to parliamentary Standing committee on security and foreign policy.
