161 rebel-linked detainees released in Yemen
SAADA, April 06 (Saba) - The security authorities have released about 161 detainees of those who were arrested in connection with the Houthi rebellion in the far north, 26sep.net has reported.
The group is the second since the ceasefire between the government and the Houthi
group that called for releasing captives from both sides started in February.
The first group, about 75, was released two weeks ago. Meanwhile, the ceasefire
committees are continuing supervising the deal paving the way for the refugee
return and
the start of rebuilding the war-ravaged areas.
On February 11, the government and the Houthi group reached the ceasefire ending a
six-war in Saada and the district of Harf Sufyan in neighboring Amran province.
