MONGOLIAN TROOPS DEPLOY TO AFGHANISTAN
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ A ceremony was held Wednesday to officially see off the 2nd contingent of Mongolian troops to participate in peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.
Present at the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Defense S.Baasankhuu, Chief of the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General
Ts.Byambajav and other top officials.
Some 120 troops will be deployed to Afghanistan April 9 to serve six months' duty. In addition, 23 others will be on training missions with the Afghan National Army.
