SMARTPOOLS MAKES INROADS INTO INDIAN MARKET

KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 (Bernama) -- SmartPools Sdn Bhd has designed a "water
treadmill" system which has made its way into the huge and emerging Indian
market.

Prior to the Indian foray, it successfully created a strong presence in
Europe, the Middle East and other South East Asian countries.

"We've had our eyes on the Indian market since inception as property
development there has a tremendous regard for healthy lifestyles," said its
Executive Director Faizan Khan.

He said the company's strategy was to make the product more well known among
developers of property and real estate in order for SmartPools to be integrated
inthe designing and planning of homes, clubs, resorts, recreational and
rehabilitation centers as well as gymnasiums.

Faizan said the SmartPools technology is developed by Ascenteus Sdn Bhd,
a
MSC-status technology incubator and licenced to SmartPools Sdn Bhd.
