Yemen, relief organization discuss Saada displaced people support

HAJJAH, April 10 (Saba)- Hajjah Undersecretary Governor Miftaah Dahshosh discussed on Saturday with the resident representative of the International Relief Organization in Yemen Lisa Baron possibilities of supporting the displaced people outside the camps in health care.

During the meeting, they reviewed the detailed report on the number of displaced people in Abes and Aslam districts which reached around 7000 people and mechanism of providing the needs required.

The talks dealt with the humanitarian efforts by the organization since the beginning of the last war in Sa'ada and the role played by the Local Authority in Al-Mizraq camps in providing their needs of food, shelter and health services.

During the meeting, Dahshosh welcomed initiative of the organization to address situation of the displaced persons by the war with the rebels in Saada province, affirming readiness of the governorate's leadership to remove any difficulties facing the organization's work.

For her part, the organization representative said that her visit is aiming to collect preliminary information about the needs of the refugees outside the camps and host communities, pointing out assistance to be provided by the organization which will focus on shelter and health.
