Qat, laborer smugglers seized in Saada, Hodiadah

SA'ADA, April 10 (Saba)- Security authorities have seized a person, 30, in Saada city accused of smuggling Yemeni citizens to Saudi Arabia through boarder line.

The authorities told the Security Information Centre in the province that the accused from Dhamar province was smuggling Yemeni workers to Saudi lands in dangerous trips on foot cross uninhabited areas.

He had accomplices who received pays from the trafficked laborers.

On the other hand, a qat smuggler, 30, has been seized by the Criminal Investigative Department in Hodeida province after he stole SR 30000 from a Saudi citizen, 43.

The Yemeni and Saudi agreed that the sum would be used to smuggle qat into Saudi Arabia but the Yemeni smuggler did not stick to the deal and took the money for his own purposes.
