Many die, hurt in April car accidents in Yemen

SANA'A, April 10( Saba)- About 7
people were killed and 34 others were injured due to road accidents throughout the
country
on Thursday bringing the number of the casualties of car accidents so far this
month to 70 deaths and over 375 injuries, the Interior Ministry has reported .
About 63 persons died and 341 were injured in accidents that happened across the
country during the first week of April.
According to statistics issued by the Traffic Authority, about 270 car accidents
took place including 122crashs and 87 running over, 37 overturning and 4 falling
accidents.
The main reasons behind the accidents were excessive speed, drivers' neglect,
technical defects, wrong overtaking and others.
