Yemen, Germany review cooperation aspects

SANA'A, April 12 (Saba) - Deputy Minister
of Planning and International Cooperation Hisham Sharaf met here on Monday with the
German
parliament's delegation, currently visiting Yemen.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current cooperation aspects between
Yemen and Germany and means of boosting it so as to serve the common interests.
They also dealt with the results of the working groups emerging from the Group of
Yemen Friends as well as the underway preparations for convening the ministerial
meeting
of the group.
Sharaf briefed the German parliamentary delegation on the nature of efforts exerted
by the Yemeni government aiming to achieve the ten priorities for 2009-2010, which
President
Ali Abdullah Saleh is personally following up the implementation of them.
He lauded the contributions of the German government to support the development
process in Yemen, affirming Yemen's keenness to promote the current partnership
with Germany.
The German delegation praised the democratic activity witnessed by Yemen,
confirming German's support to Yemen's security, stability and democratic
experience.
