YEMEN CALLS TO CARRY OUT DECISIONS OF UN CONFERENCE FOR POPULATION

NEWS YORK, April 14 (Saba)-During the 43rd meeting for the UN committee for the population and development, Yemen has called on international community for carrying out decisions of international conference for population and development.

In a speech of specialist of economic committee of Yemeni permanent delegation to United Nations Awsan al-Awdi on behalf of 77th Group and china Yemen to the meeting, al-Awdi said that in spite of efforts of developing countries to combat poverty and improving health services.

He attributed that to crises faced these countries such as food and energy crises, pointing out to importance of fulfill fifth goal of the millennium development related to health.

He affirmed need of the developing countries for assistance now in this regard, asking the international community to facilitate genie of these countries for developed medicines for diseases like HIV/AIDS.
