PRESIDENT CHAIRS OVER MEETING FOR HIGH PROFILE OFFICIALS

SANA'A, April 17 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh headed on
Saturday a meeting for the high profile officials of the state over
issues related to development process in the country.

The meeting discussed directives of president Saleh presented during
his recent visit to Hadramout province including order of generating
electricity by use of gas at capacity of 150 MgW to respond to needs
of the citizens of the province and other development projects.

The meeting also discussed current situation in Saada based on
reports of the supervision committee of implementing six points in
addition to measures taken to normalize the condition in the
province, and facilitate returning back of the displaced people as
well as settle peace in the province.

President Saleh gave orders to finalize measures of setting up Saada
University and starting process of re building the province in
accordance with plan of the government.
