SNACC calls on military commanders to provide their FDSs

SANA'A, April 17 (Saba) -
The Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC) called on Saturday
on 520
military commanders to provide Financial Disclosure Statements (FDS) for the second
time in pursuance of the financial disclosure law.
The SNACC's member and head of the financial disclosure sector Mohamed al-Matari
told Saba that the authority addressed the Ministry of Defense to inform 520
military commanders
to submit their FDSs for the second time in accordance with the Article No. 16 of
the financial disclosure law.
Al-Matari noted the cooperation of the ministry, pointing out that the ministry
officials were among the first who provided their financial disclosure statements
two year
ago.
It is worthy to mention that the Article No. 16 of the financial disclosure law
provided that "Any person, who is subjected to this law, must provide a financial
disclosure
statement periodically after two years from the date of his first statement
submission, or upon a request by the authority".
