Tens killed in road accidents in Yemen
SANA'A, April 17 (Saba) - About 61 persons
killed and 185 others were injured in 247 traffic accidents across the country last
week.
A report issued by the Traffic General Administration the total material losses of
the incidents amounted to over YR 32 million.
According to the report, Sana'a was in the first place in terms of accident number
and deaths with 87 accidents and 16 deaths, followed by Taiz province with 33
accidents
killed 15 people.
Reasons behind the accidents were over speed, drivers' carelessness, using mobile
phones as driving and other reasons, according to the report.
