Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Many organizations and schools of the province cooperate with same organizations of Barnaul city of Russian Altai Krai.
Located in a center of the aimag secondary school 6, for example, established a cooperation agreement in 2008 with a school of Barnaul city. In frames of this cooperation, a group of the Mongolian school, comprising ten teachers and pupils, have visited Baranaul and organized there sports and cultural actions, teachers of Russian language shared views on improving professional skills.

In a scope of an educational program of the aimag's governor, cultural days of Tuva are to run. Anticipating this event, a conference titled "Traditional custom of Tuva people" and a quiz about Tuva have been organized, and a small exhibition of handcrafts and concert have run in the province.

Children's sports games named "Sport stars" have taken place in there among pupils of secondary schools. Some 700 pupils, selected from all soums, competed for 292 package medals in various events. By united results, a secondary school 1 has become a winner.

The "Sustainable livelihood-2" project is being implemented successfully in Khovd. Assistance has been given to the aimag in frames of this project to repair buildings of schools, kindergartens, hospitals and dormitories, and to provide the aimag with facilities and ambulances.
A hospital of Buyant soum has received motorcycles and equipment, kindergarten and dormitory have been equipped in accordance with a line of the "Sustainable livelihood" project.
