ABOUT 6.7 MILLION LIVESTOCK LOST
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ As of April 18, a total of six million 729 thousand 794 heads of livestock have perished nationwide due to bad weather of winter and spring this year, a Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry reports.
Out of total loss of domesticated animals, 599,416 were big animals /horse, cattle and camel/, and six million 130 thousand 378 were small ones such as sheep and goat, the ministry says.
