TURKISH DELEGATION VISITS M'SIA TO STUDY REGULATORY PERSPECTIVE IN CAPITAL MARKETS

KUALA LUMPUR, April 19 (Bernama) -- A delegation from the Turkish capital
market will make a two-day visit beginning Tuesday to study the regulatory
perspective in capital markets in Malaysia.

Members of the delegation are senior management personnel of Capital Markets
Board of Turkey, Istanbul Stock Exchange, Turkish Derivatives Exchange and ISE
Settlement and Custody Bank, said the Turkish Embassy here in a statement.

The delegation will also meet senior management of the correspondent
institutions with a view to expand technical and legal cooperation opportunities
and to sign a bilateral memorandum of understanding with the Securities
Commission (SC).

They will also visit SC, Bursa Malaysia (Malaysia Exchange), Islamic
Financial Services Board, Malaysia International Islamic Centre and Cagamas
Bhd, it said.

The visit is expected to stir the collaboration of Turkish-Malaysia capital
markets, enhance bilateral relations, exchange of ideas and joint activities in
future, it added.
