Coordination of assistance for displaced people in Saada discussed

SAADA, April 19 (Saba)- A meeting was held on Monday for the coordination council for humanitarian organizations in the province of Saada headed by secretary general of Saada local council Mohammed
al Emad.

They meeting discussed cooperation and coordination between the organizations
during process of distribution for assistance to insure delivery of the aid for all
displaced
people.
Al Emad highlighted role of these organization in offering services and assistance
to the displaced people in cooperation with the local authority in the province.
For his part, Abdulqader Shwit, executive director of Yemen Red Crescent Society
branch in province presented a report over activities of the society during the
first quarter
of the year. He said that the society distributed relief materials for 3,500 persons
and 398 persons have been helped to return to their region of Al Oqab.
The cost of returning displaced people to their regions is YR 60 million as each
family would receive YR 30,000.
The meeting was attended by representatives of doctors without borders, Save of
Children, Islamic Relief and Amal society.
