DEVOTEES OF DISGRACED GODMAN SIGNED 'CODE OF SILENCE' OVER TANTRIC SEX

NEW DELHI, April 23 (Bernama) -- Devotees of a disgraced self-styled godman,
caught on tape engaging in sex with a renowned South Indian actress, were forced
to sign a 'code of silence' which barred them from divulging their sexual
rendezvous at his ashram.

According to The Times of India, the spiritual master practised the ancient
tantric sex in the ashram, where "nudity, sexual activity and physical intimacy,
were part of the learning".

Devotees attending the programme, 'Learning from the Master Programme',
were bound by the code, said the paper, whereby they had signed a
"non-disclosure" agreement on the course.

They promised not to take any legal action after practising the ancient art,
added the paper.

According to investigators cracking the case, most devotees who enrolled in
the programme under the tutelage of the 32-year-old suspect, were women.

These women -- many of whom were highly educated and of Indian origin --
were either divorced or obtained divorce after undergoing the programme.
