Omani minister leaves Yemen

SANA'A, April 23 (Saba)- The Omani Minister of Transport
and Telecommunication Khamis al-Alawi left Sana'a on Friday following the
participation
in meetings of the 10th round of the Yemeni - Omani Joint Committee, concluded on
Thursday.
Upon departure, he told Saba that the meetings of the joint committee came out with
very good results as honesty and transparency dominated the talks.
"Two cooperation agreements were signed during the meetings in the fields of
environment and social security," he said, adding that the two sides also discussed
bilateral
cooperation in areas of higher and school education, customs, health and industry.
Al-Alawi noted that work teams will follow this cooperation to translate it on the
ground, wishing the two countries better cooperation for the common good of the
Yemeni
and Omani peoples.
