POLICE THWART ATTEMPT TO SMUGGLE DIESEL IN WESTERN YEMEN

TAIZ, April 25 (Saba) - Police in Makha district, Taiz, have seized three trucks carrying diesel barrels that were on their way to be smuggled to an African country, almotamar.net reported on Sunday.

Seven persons were arrested in connection with the smuggling attempt, aged 30-40.

In Sana'a, police have arrested four people while trading in forged currency of 100 USD notes, according to the state-run September website.

A sum of $ 90.000 was seized with the group which was discovered while trying to change $ 10000 at an exchange store in the Secretariat Capital.
