MONGOLIA STEALS CYCLING STAGE

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/. Riders from the Mongolia performed well to take both the yellow jersey and the team lead in the Vietnamese National Ho Chi Min City Television Cycling Cup last Saturday.
It was a bad day for Vietnamese racers as they suffered flat tires on poor roads, giving cyclists from Mongolia the chance to move into the lead.
Tuguldur Tuulkhangai finished first in the 122km 13th stage from Ninh Thuan Province's Phan Rang to Da Lat City in 3hr 43.16 minutes. His total time of 41:14.56 over 13 stages allowed him to steal the yellow jersey from Vietnamese Le Van Duan of Sai Gon Plant Protection 1.
Tuulkhangai's successful stage played a key role in boosting his team to top the overall team rankings with a combined time of 123:49.09.
