MONGOLIA WISHES TO ADVANCE RELATIONS WITH JAPAN

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Mongolia wishes to promote and upgrade comprehensive partnership relations with Japan into new stage, President Tsakhia Elbegdorj has noted at his meeting with a top official of the Japanese Foreign Ministry.
"One of the preconditions to advance the bilateral relations is to conclude an Economic Partnership Treaty," the President underlined at the meeting Tuesday with visiting A.Saiki, the Head of the Department for Asia and the Pacific of Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mr Elbergdorj said his country is interested in cooperating with Japan in manufacturing surplus-value products through introducing Japan's eco-friendly state-of-the-art technique and technology in mineral resources sector, in constructing power plant and electricity transmission lines based on the largest mineral deposits and setting up a complex processing factory.
The President said,"Mongolia stands for establishing a two-phase loan agreement of Japanese Government to develop small- and medium-sized enterprises and for launching an official talk to conclude an Economic Partnership Treaty".
