YEMEN TAKES PART IN MARSEILLE CONFERENCE ON ARAB YOUTH



SANA'A, April 27 (Saba) - Yemen is taking part in the Arab
conference on promoting youth income opportunities and active
citizenship in Marseille, France.

Upon departure, Minister of Youth and Sports, head of the Yemeni
delegation to the conference, Hamoud Ubad, said that he will he
deliver a speech highlighting Yemen's experience in the youth
development and empowerment as well as promoting their nationalism
through the national strategy for youth and children.

The four-day meeting will discuss several issues topped by
unemployment of the youth and its effects on jobs and citizenship,
he said.

About 40 countries and organizations including the Arab League, the
World Bank, the UN an the European Union are attending.
