FRANCE ALLOCATES € 200,000 FOR UNHCR PROGRAMS IN YEMEN

SANA'A, April 28 (Saba) - The French government has allocated € 200,000 to humanitarian programs of the UNHCR in Yemen during this year.

According to a statement of the French embassy in Sana'a, the sum would support annual budget of the UNHCR programs in helping displaced people of Saada sedition and program of offering care for Somali refugees in the country

The embassy said such support confirms commitment of France towards efforts of the UN agency to improve humanitarian situation for displaced people and refugees in Yemen.

It also made it clear that the humanitarian situation for the displaced people in Yemen needs international support.
