Interior minister meets UN's senior official

SANA'A, April 28 (Saba) - Interior
Minister Mutahar al-Masri met here on Wednesday with Assistant Secretary-General of
the United
Nations Amat al-Alim al-Soswa.
During the meeting, al-Soswa briefed al-Masri on the assistance offered by UN to
Yemen, topped by the food aid for the displaced people of Saada.
Al-Soswa pointed out that UN presented a proposal for the World Bank (WB) to
establish Saada Construction Fund with a contribution of both organizations.
For his part, al- Masri reviewed the steps are implemented by the government to
offer all facilities to the UN's team in Yemen, hailing the UN's support to Yemen,
especially
the program of removing mines and UN World Food Program.
