SFD DELEGATION IN YEMEN



SANA'A, May 02 (Saba) - A delegation of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) headed by the SFD Director General of Saudi Export Program Ahmed al-Ghannam arrived in here on Sunday for a few-day visit.

Speaking to Saba, al-Ghannam said the visit comes within the SFD Export Program's activities in order to enhance trade exchange between the two brotherly countries.

He noted that during the visit a number of funding line agreements between the SFD and a number of Yemeni banks, including renewing and increasing the funding line with the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank (CAC Bank).

The Saudi director talked about the importance of signing the agreement to promote trade exchange between Yemen and Saudi Arabia for enabling the Yemeni importer to use these lines.

For his part, the CAC Bank Chairman of the Board Hafez Mayad highlighted the significance of this agreement, which to be signed in facilitating the Yemeni-Saudi trade exchange via providing facilities for the private sector in import process from Saudi Arabia.
