UK DIPLOMAT APPRECIATES SECURITY BODIES PROMPT ACT

SANA'A, May 02 (Saba) - British ambassador to Yemen Tim Torlot expressed on Sunday his appreciation of the security bodies' prompt move and investigations over the failed terrorist suicide attack which targeted him last week.

During his meeting with the Interior Minister Mutahir al-Masri, the British diplomat thanked all society classes, who condemned the attack.

Al-Masri and Torlot reviewed means of promoting the security cooperation between the two friendly countries especially in fields of rehabilitation and training of Yemeni security services and combating terrorism.

The Minister reiterated Yemen's partnership with the international fight against terrorism.

He noted the failed terrorist attack which targeted the convoy of the British ambassador in Yemen reflects a state of despair and a humiliating defeat among the terrorists by security authorities.
