YR 9 bln projects to be launched in Hodeidah, Salif, Makha ports
HODEIDAH, May 02
(Saba) -The Yemen Red Sea Ports Corporation's Executive Chairman Isa Hashim said on
Sunday
that the corporation is to open and put foundation stones for 16 projects in ports
of Hodeidah ,Makha and Salif at a cost of over YR 9 billion.
Speaking to Saba, Hashim pointed that the projects, which would be opened by the
corporation during the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of Yemen Reunification
on May
22, are 11 projects at a cost of YR 1.3 billion in ports of Hodeidah, Salif and Makha.
Hashim pointed out that the corporation, within the development and the
modernization being undertaken in the ports, would put the foundation stones for
the implementation
of five projects in the ports of Hodeidah and Makha at a cost of YR 7.7 billion
financed by the corporation and the government.
