Yemen, UNESCO discuss cultural cooperation

SANA'A, May 02 (Saba)-Minister of Culture
Mohammed al-Maflahi held talks on Sunday with the Hamed al-Hammami, UNESCO
Representative
in the Arab States of the Gulf and Yemen who is currently visiting Yemen.
The talks focused on aspects of the cultural cooperation between Yemen and the
UNESCO and needs of Yemen to develop handcraft works.
The UNESCO official was briefed on requirements to set up culture development
centers in different districts of the country.
He expressed readiness of the UN organization to cooperate with Yemen to develop
handcraft works and traditional industries by sending experts to train Yemenis.
