NEMA'S DEPUTY HEAD MEETS DEFENSE ATTACHE OF FRANCE
Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Deputy Head of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Commissioner D.Namsrai received Monday Lieutenant Colonel Christophe Dubois, a defense attache of the Embassy of the Republic of France in the Republic of China.
At the meeting, Mr Dubois said he studied for over a year opportunities to develop a cooperation with the NEMA. He asked the NEMA's Deputy Head about plane crashes ever occurred in Mongolia and the measures which are taken in case of foreign plane crashes here. He expressed a willingness to organize for the Mongolian professionals a training on emergency cases management system of France and to exchange information and experience with the NEMA.
The French side voiced another willingness to participate as an obsever in earthquake readiness exercises that will be run April of 2011 by the NEMA and the "Excellence" U.S. Center of Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance.
