US CITIZEN AWARDED ORDER OF DEMOCRACY

Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ Head of the Union of Democratic Women of Mongolia (UDWM) B.Delgermaa granted Wednesday the Order of Democracy to the U.S. citizen Anita Farni.
From the year 1998 until now, A.Farni has presented 300 thousand books to Mongolia's universities, institutes, secondary schools and NGOs. Every year she helps nine women go to Switzerland and get trained majoring in teaching methodology and involves English language teachers to re-trainings in Switzerland and Germany. Upon returning home, a majority of these people are employed in the biggest and reputable companies and organizations.
Apart of it, she has had 100 foreign teachers of English worked in Mongolia.
Mrs Farni was born in the USA. After graduating the Oberlin College, she worked as a French language teacher in Taipei, and as an advisor for foreign students in Chicago. She was elected member of Citizens' Meeting of one Swiss town.
